Ski raced for several years until I screwed up my knees, so I snowboard now. This is the first year I haven't bought a pass though, kinda burned out on resorts, though the steamboat deal seems tempting.

Alex, just make your own split board. Find the cheapest, stiffest board you can find on Craigslist in the spring and buy a kit.

Steamboat is probably my favorite resort. They have fantastic gladed runs. The Aspens are much better spaced than the evergreens. Plus, the powder is fantastic.

How many times have you been?

like 5 times. I made a good honest effort (because all of my friends love boarding/skiing) and it just never did it for me. Not fun at all.
