Congrats man! I also graduated from a "prestigious" (online) learning institution recently.

I would also like to add - FUCK EJ25 spark plug replacement. I would rather go back to school than have to do that again.

Hahahahahaha I'm not sure about going back to school but there are about a thousand things I'd rather do than replace subaru spark plugs, like sit on a nail.

took me 20min... to replace on my dads subaru.
two bolts on washer bottle undo sensors easy to replace plugs,
other side two bolts loosen air stuff lift out of way done.

hyundai santa fe plugs on the other hand total crap to get to the back ones have to remove the intake manifold.

You can rent them from AutoZone. Just have a pay upfront and then they'll return your money.

On the sti and <01 2.5rs you run the risk of loosing your arm.

40$ rental there, I would just keep them... but if not you can borrow mine.

Yeah, it was an '06 Legacy GT. Miserable job. I'm going an S54 head gasket in an M Coupe next week. That might take the cake for me.

                          Compression numbers; 177/175/166/180/175/175

Should #3s lower number be a concern?

I would say no. It's still within a healthy range of the rest.

However, I would put a watch on that cylinder (check all of them later at some point, and see if it gets better or worse).

Was this test run warm or cold?

(in response to engine compression #s eric) The S50 in my old silver car was slightly worse and Cal @ ASW said no big deal and not to worry about it.
