and Ben, how was the track? I hear its ridiculously awesome with wicked elevation changes.
The Advanced PDX was was 80 minutes of driving for $150.

Normal PDX is 60 mins of driving (I think, might just be 30) for $100 or if you work a corner, free.

Club Time Trials which Ben and I both got signed off for is also 80 min for $150 IIRC.

These prices are at HPR, not sure what Pueblo Pricing is.

Track was extremely fun. We ran the short track config (turns 1,2,3,4s, over to 15 through the corkscrew), looks lame on paper, but was super fun, especially lining up for the corkscrew which is all blind.

Sean, PM me your personal email, or best way to send you stuff (text? I dunno). It was a fantastic time, and Amanda didn't come down with us. I woke up at 4:30 and left at 4:45 and we still didn't have as much time as I'd have liked to prep the car, etc. When I rode in my instructors car at the beginning of the day (instructor familiarization session, was in an e46 M3 (ZOMG I WANT ONE NOW)), we got in 14 laps. For me personally, I'd estimate 10 or less since the car was much slower than the e46...It definitely feels like a rip off, but it's not... You get so into it, that it seems like you're only out there for two minutes before they call you back in.

No idea on the seat time per dollar, I base it on the whole experience... All I learned from the school, bullshitting with other racers and instructors, watching Smash Miata and talking to some of the shop teams present, as well as watching an old RX-7 get a complete motor swap in the paddock between sessions (hilarious, they used a full blown tow truck / wrecker as an engine hoist...), plus the free (good) food and beer afterward made the whole day worth it in my mind, VERY worth it. It definitely made me re-evaluate EVERY bit of money I want to spend on the car from this point out.... The car was bought for track, but I had only autocrossed it and was figuring I'd just autocross it, I'm back on track with not caring what autocross group I'm in, and tailoring it for track use / seat time.

The track, like Roland said, seemed short (and comparatively, it was) but it was awesome fun, and had plenty of elevation changes as well as some amazingly tricky sections... 2 blind corners.... 1 simple, 1 off camber going downhill... You can't see the apex or track out, you just push the car to where it needs to be and believe the track will be there LOL...

I agree, it's great fun and I'll be planning for more open sessions soon.

Normal PDX is only 1 session I believe, but I could be wrong. Perhaps 2 15 minute sessions, but it's nothing like the Advanced PDX (and advanced PDX is the only one that will sign you off on Time Trials and Club Racing, etc.). Advanced is the way to go, it's the tits. Not sure if the prices change at different tracks, and not sure what the cost of entry is for TT or club stuff, Roland might be right since I haven't checked.

Normal PDX is free if you're willing to spend a day working a corner. You can work and drive the same day as well, Grant Barclay mentioned to us at the end of the day during our little congratulations - debriefing meeting.

PM me for detailing services in the Longmont / Boulder Area in Colorado!

I think it might just be 1 30 min session then. The sessions are 30 min, whether there are 1 or 2 of them I do not know.

Advanced is definitely the way to go though.

It's not like a free one, you sign up and exchange work for a session on track. I dunno how to sign up or anything though, gonna be signing up for some time trials probably
