let's not bust on euroBerge too much now, it is a free online magazine, and Roland is a cool dude, maybe we can donate some photos. I sure have a bunch.....

I'll make sure to mention that to the rest of the group. But our photographers do make it out there occasionally, I believe they were even out the same day you were out there in October.
Those people say the same about autox: "you stand out there all day just to drive for 4 minutes?"
Everyone prefers something different, and we do have to acknowledge that. But I do see your point.
Noted, and agreed to some point. Some people like showing their car and going to look at other cars. Some people like racing their cars and becoming a better driver.True, but the photogs can come out to the events and take pictures all the same......not hard to do. You get much more interesting pictures too; parking lot shots of yetanotheraudiorvw are pretty boring after a while. Gorgeous, but boring.
It's been suggested.Ha. Euroberge should go to Bimmer burger nights or something, they'd get the standing around parking lots crew.
Understood and agreed. The ones who are passionate about the brand do driving events tho like you said, and since we're all broke, looking at financed cars in a parking lot is pointless. Many of the E30 guys showed up to the recent meet (where our pic was taken) simply so that we could go bowling after.
Noted, agreed, and I'll do my best to bring these issues to the rest of EB.I know Euroberge is volunteer only, and I'm glad they exist, but they need to come to more driving events like the Ice Gymkhana and less shows. Shows are boring. Driving/action shots are more fun to read about.
Unfortunately we don't feature specific cars in that sense in an effort to distance ourselves from magazines like Eurotuner and such, but I'll run the idea by Richard when I see him next and see what can be done, as your situation isn't the typical car build. No promises though sir.Just wait till the V12 E30 and V12 A-Mod car are built. If euroberge wants to feature either that'd be sweet, or do multi-part story on their builds, I think Val and I'd be down for that.
See above. As much as I'd love to say that we could feature it, since SC-Tis are bad ass, it probably wouldn't fly, and I don't even get to make those calls.
Any criticism or advice is better than none. It's good to know what our readers think though, so don't hold back! :DLast edited by Roland H; 04-29-2010, 06:39 PM.

Just out of curiousity, would anyone be willing to attend the bimmer burger nights (or some of the other BMW events such as the Drives or Driving schools even) and do a write-up on it and/or provide photos?
I'm not sure what my schedule this summer will be like at all, but it's likely going to be fairly busy with two jobs, the magazine, and racing.Last edited by Roland H; 04-29-2010, 06:45 PM.

Not sure, they'll probably be posting them pretty soon though.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.Comment
