Boulder beater needs a quick hand today

I'm finally getting around to my timing belt today. I was gonna solo the whole deal, but i've realized that I cant remove the hood on my own. Do any of you guys have a few mins to spare to help me take the hood off?

I live in south Boulder, by baseline and broadway. Ping me here, or text/call my cell

    Cheers

unfortunately I am not in the area, but why do you need to take the hood off?

unless it won't stay up on its own?

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

While we're on the subject, I have a few jobs to do and I wanted your opinions about the order of operations:

              1. Timing Belt (my rocker scare last months makes this #1)
              2. Valve adjustment (goes along with t-belt)
              3. Seafoam the engine (figured since I need to romp on it I'd do this after t-belt and valves? Should i worry?)
              4. oil change (post seafoam)
              5. new spark plugs (don't want to foul new plus in seafoam process)

of course i'm stuck on the t-belt now =(

honestly not bad order. Might want to do new water pump gaskets and hoses, take a look at motor mounts, and whatnot. Seafoam......debatable. All I noticed from doing that was a bunch of odd looks from my neighbors.

+1 I would do as much maintenance as you can while the car is apart because its a royal pain to have to pull everything apart again.

I would get the injectors "rebuilt". I think there is someone locally that can do it, but I sent mine out to get them done. Most people ignore injectors on such old, high mile cars.

Sure I'd be up for injector rebuild; does any body have a recommendations.

I'm planning on skipping the water pump, it was done on the last t-belt 40k ago. But I will check it for 'play' in the shaft while it's exposed.

Thanks guys, any suggestions for a time?; I realize that I'll need help removing and then replacing the hood and that takes up the time for the whole job. Maybe a T-belt part deuce? Or before a get-together?

In the end I didn't do any mechanical work, I spent the time mounting the Zender front valance. And then repairing some rust in the rear wheel arch.
