Not sure. I know iX springs are different from normal rwd springs.

besides, i wouldn't put coilovers on an iX anyway, I am not sure the front drive system is meant to be lowered too far, i hear it can screw up the CV shafts and such. They make H&R springs for the iX that lower it moderately that looks pretty good.

chrisiX (or some similar username) on e30tech has coilovers on his iX, can't remember exactly what the process was... He probably has a write-up on the subject over there.

After reading a little about H&R sports I decided I'm staying away from them as everyone has said they aren't stiff enough and bottom out. I don't want coilovers to be super low. I want to be similar to H&R with a slight bit lower in the front. I want them for the abillity to raise it back up in the winter and to get better performance than the others. I've also read that lowering doesn't hurt cv's, they are designed to work at many angles, and you see lowered awd cars all of the time anyways.

Also try E90 spring hats. They are about $20 for a pair, and lower the front of an E30 about 5/8". However, check the fitment on the iX, i am not sure the spring hats are the same.

I was going to do drop hats but they won't work in an ix, and nando talked about a GC set-up with 600f/700r springs being better than H&R because you aren't hitting the bumpstops. Appearantley the H&R aren't stiff enough for the ammount they lower the car.
