Is that red M Roadster still around in your car domain pics? I've got an M Coupe in that color. I was on a drive with several other M Coupe owners when we saw a red M roady at a campsite between Estes and Ft. Collins last month. We were going a little too fast to stop. There is a pretty tight, but small community of 36/7 and 36/8's on the Front Range I'd love to meet some other owners.
Back to your original post, wouldn't be more cost effective / less PIA to just sell the ZHP and get a normal 330 or something else you might enjoy more for dog duty, etc? It seems like ZHP's go for a descent premium and parting out the interior would only de-value the car. I had an E46 touring that was great for the dogs. Much more nimble and better gas mileage than the E39 touring, yet plenty of utility for the dogs, bikes, hell I even put a hang glider rack on it.JOY IS AN E30...

The M Roadster was a 99, but I got rid of it in 2008. It didn't have much appeal after I got the S52 swap done. I'd like to pick up and 01/02 next spring if you know anyone with a nice one.
$10k should cover you for a nice swap. I spent more, but I got my engine almost 5 years ago when they went for a lot more, then I had to rebuild the head (long story!!), and bought a lot a new parts instead of used. Its been dead reliable though for the most part. If you want more info on the swap, let me know. I learned a lot along the way!

The only thing I would change would be M roady gills and swapping the CW's with some BBS rims.
My buddy would dig to check out your car sometime. It would be a great example of what to strive for. Do you ever frequent any of the GTG's, CCA stuff, or track days?JOY IS AN E30...
