That's the plan. They only started sucking less in '92 when the LT1 and ZF 6-speed was introduced.

However, the LT1 C4 vette, i hear is pretty well weight balanced, and i hear it handles quite well. But hey, I have never driven one. I rode in my buddy's C5 Z06, and that thing was brutally fast in every direction. of course, I'd swap out the seats for proper racing seats first thing...

It's about the only corvette I would be able to afford after school. And the LT1 vettes aren't bad. And easily LSx swapped.

I hear differently. The C5 is exponentially better in all aspects, and won't cost that much more. in a couple years.
