It is both surprising that he dropped from $100 to $400, and equally surprising that his original price was so high, that at a 60% decrease it is still a crack-smoking price, unless the tires are brand new.

Put it this way: I won't pay over $100 for a set of E38 style 5s (w/o tires).

Yup, E12. They are smoking crack if they think they can get $4k for one. Take all that is wrong with an E28, and make it wrong-er.

You would think with the asking prices people are putting out there these days you should be able to get top dollar for your junk.

I am tempted to email the E21 guy and tell him he is smoking crack. I know there is no purpose in doing that, but I just have that urge.
