Who the heck says "MTM" for manual transmission? Who would ever enter "MTM" as a search term in CL?

I do drive my 318is pretty hard, and I drive my E28 like a grandma, mostly because it is slow as molasses (lots slower than my 318is) and the shocks have been evacuated of all fluid, among other things. 30 mpg is a bit high for my E28, I would have to make more measurements to say that it is consistent. However, 30mpg w/ the 318is IS consistent, and I rap out every gear all the time.

Also, my M42 has 236k on it, keep in mind.

I get about 35mpg and drive mine pretty hard....

I get about 26 in town on my m42 and i drive the snot out of it. I've hit 36mpg at about a 60mph cruise and do about 32mpg at 75...
