                You could pick up that e23 and make it faster than an e28 M5 with the extra $2500 you would save...:finger:
                Plus its more rare here in the states, but thats not as important to some people.

                But dropping the s38 into it would make it the 745i South African model, the never badged M7, essentially the same thing that happened to the M8 (850CSI, only 1510 built). Only 209 official 745i SA models made vs 2145 M5's.

                  The e23 is a boat and the s38 is peaky. The m106 can make tons of power for cheap and would be great to surprise people on the i25 between Denver/springs, but would still be terrible on the track no matter what motor is in it.
