This is true! And I hear it really wakes up w/ a Mark D chip. They are on sale now for $185 btw.... I reeealy want one for my car...

No, but a friend did. Seems solid, needs a few things, but better than most of em. They are so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.
