quikveedb2-- can you get discount lift tickets? Thanks for hooking us up!

I think this group ski/board day is going to be wicked.

Is this mess around fun skiing or straight to the bowls skiing?

Either, I suppose. We'll probably have a group of varied ski levels. I used to do bowls, but haven't skiied in two years now....so I guess it doesn't matter to me. I'd be up for a day of just chilling and skiing fun runs or a day of "let's blow david's knee for the third time doing bowls."

Yeah, I am JUST at the point of getting to blacks. I had no experience coming out here and no lessons so I think I am doing alright. I just need to go more often. Last time I was out I fell HARD. I got a consussion and my neck hurt for over a week. I've been watching myself after that.

I can get up into bowls pretty well. I would be down for whatever though.

Same, I ride bumps, chutes, cornices, back country, etc.

No park though, unless its empty, which never happens anymore.

Eh, I have fun doing whatever. But I am from Iowa, it takes VERY little for me to have fun.

I am on the snowboard full time for the first season ever, so I mostly cruise easy stuff and hunt for powder.

My knees got beat from 25+ years of skiing where angels fear to tread.

I'm old, so riding until I'm tired then drinking beer at altitude is quite a good time.

$1 tacos & $2 domestic drafts @ The Winter Park Pub on Mondays, 2-4-1 you-call-it Tuesdays at Coffee & Tea market, Ladies Night @ Ullrs Fridays (girls get 2 drinks free), $1 Budweiser drafts Thursdays @ Ullrs. 2-4-1 drafts @ Back Bowl for season pass holders (myself). The list goes on. Friday through Sunday is pretty much prime time here, so just carry a flask (I do) or plan on paying full price unless you're a local. Let me know when you'll be in town & I can check out lodging deals. I can get lodging starting @ $41 a night at the hotel where my shop is, and I have 4 friends & family coupons for $59 lift tickets, normally retail at $97 if I recall, and I'm sure i can come up with more.

There's skiing for all levels, I'm mostly a park rat, and ride trees & steeps when the snow is good, but I can point anybody of any ability level towards the right spots. It's what I do for a living.

Rest assured there will be plenty of "bowls" for those interested, this is CO, after all...

Um, lodging deals = awesome. We should talk, I go nearly every weekend and some weekdays through march.

I have 10 of those friends/family coupons too (season pass), I'm willing to share, my bro has 10 too and is also willing to share...

Bumps are a no go for me. I hate them on a snowboard.

so I am a super novice snowboarder, and I have never touched skis. I have physically snowboarded twice in my life. The first time it was on ice gravel in MD and the second time Loveland and I was sick as a dog.

So I may be heading up to this meet thing at WP with a couple buddies of mine. I may be bringing a spare 8" subwoofer...
