I probably will be up for a ride. Hopefully we will find Mykal a bike before the weekend. I emailed about this one

I might accompany you or meet you there. I'm hoping to go up both days but that might not happen. I'm also considering a hike in FoCo one of the days and F1...

Great! No response yet from the guy. Hopefully we can pick this one up.

Not to go OT again, but real quick... I'm going up Saturday for sure Roland, dunno if I'll make both days since F1 is 2am sunday morning... It's either hike + board, or f1 + board, and I'd rather miss the hike, though I might just record the race and board both days, both at WP

This is the first CL person that actually got back to us! I am a little worried about V-brakes but the bike looks to be well optioned. I need real thoughts on this one. I don't want to get screwed by buying a 1400 bike that could suck. My bike was easy because it was cheap and had a lot of new stuff on it.

I'll be out riding Sunday, probably.

Yeti builds good bikes, I worked at a Yeti dealer for about 5 1/2 years. There's some solid R&D behind their frames, and the guys are super nice and love to ride their bikes. A bit pricey, but they are a CO company so it's definitely worth it IMO.

V-brakes are shitty and that frame and fork can be upgraded to disc brakes if necessary.
