Ordered through Tirerack, shipped directly to TireSource in Boulder and will be installed sometime this week.
If you value customer service and quality products you will not purchase from UUC. Most of us with E36's will concur with this logic.Leave a comment:

Caught up with the NASA group as HPR yesterday.
Figured this would be the thread to add some E30 love...

True, my reasoning though is that I'd like to know when the engine (diff and trans too) are up to temp so I can romp on the car. I'm not worried about engine oil temp going too high.Leave a comment:

I'm not too worried about the temp. I have an oil cooler and many people claim oil temp on E30's in not an issue, and that is without an oil cooler even. However if I did pressure I would probably do temp at the same time.Leave a comment:

It's less of an issue than in E36s due to the sump design (under braking, oil goes TO pump instead of away), but still not _not_ an issue. I'd ask the track section guys here and at bimmerforums, but I think an oil temp gauge would be more useful myself.Leave a comment:

Is there a need for an oil pressure gauge in E30's? Low pressure on high speed turns, etc? If there is no oil pressure issues then theres no point, otherwise I will add one to keep an eye on it.Leave a comment:
