    Its a twist!

Roland thinks I am crazy and the pads are fine. Considering I have no experience I would assume he is right. I might be able to make it Sunday.

Can I track my car with the following?
Broken windshield right in front of me (gavin might have it fixed before sunday)
Drips maybe 3 or 4 drips of oil overnight
    sloppy steering

What do they actually check for open days? Or is it all just on my word? I've asked before but now I am in a position to actually go on Sunday.

I'm *knock on wood* ready and hopefully things will go fine. Just have to spend da money. Probably do that tonight.

Also, I'll be bringing my track box, tool box, 2 jack stands, and some other stuff....

I'm putting front rotors and HT10s on the M3 tonight or friday night, and then I should be ready as well. I'm bringing tools, stands, jack, cooler, mini air compressor, oil, and some spares with me. Should be set.
Whatever happened to you buying my rotors?

Got the oil changed, transmission fluid changed back to LT2 (I didn't like Red Line), brakes flush, sub frame inspected, drive line inspected, brakes and brass bushings inspected, full tire inspection, control arms, shock mounts, sway bars, trailing arms, sub frame bushings and tie rods inspected.

Going to leave the street pads and rotors on. Stock M Coupe brakes are more than capable for how fast I'll be going. She's ready to go!

I REALLY want to go, but I'm not sure I can make it since the wife and kids are sick.

Depending on how things go I might try to carpool with someone and just come along with the camera for pics/video. I'll know friday night and will let ya'll know....

Sweet, thanks! I think Ben and I and anyone else up here are planning on convoying down early AM.

Any way to find out ahead of time?

Brad, you should come! Bring Mykal too, she might then let you drive the white car.

Yeah, I have been around HPR a few times at various events. I will see what my plans are. I might be busy though as Mykal just found out she is going back to cali on Monday for a week.

So true! I did 60 something laps on the ring in the passenger seat before I really started to drive on the thing! (mostly because the E30 was broken, but i still leaned a lot!)

Honestly I agree. First time out can be pretty overwhelming, if u don't have to worry about driving then you can pick uP on how everything flows and such. Also, there will be plenty of ride along possibilities I believe, good time to learn the track and flags (if they'll have em) and such. Plus.... Who doesn't wanna spend time around motorsports on a weekend with decent weather.

Brad you should come and digest it all. It will be invaluable for next time. Seriously. You are welcome to ride along with me. I'm sure we can find you a helmet. Best part of that is it is free!

You guys are making me want to go with a car with bad brakes, broken windshield in my line of sight, and leaky seals. Bah, this sucks. Maybe next time.
