I'm def keen on going. I'll sign up tonight. I might not use my HP pads as I'm planning on driving pretty slow. I don't think they will fit an e30 though.

I'm going too. Experiment has been called off due to new class requirements BS, so I'm just going for a more relaxed track day. Edit-- going to register tonight.

Boulder/Niwot/Louisville area people, convoy? I need to figure out how to haul the dunlops too. Hrm.

David- I can shuttle tires if needed. I'll probably stay in Boulder Saturday night.

Paid tonight - it's official. I'm gonna want to do a few laps with people to get to know the track. I'll study the course map diligently the next few days.

You guys are making me want to go with a car with bad brakes, broken windshield in my line of sight, and leaky seals. Bah, this sucks. Maybe next time.

Brad you should come and digest it all. It will be invaluable for next time. Seriously. You are welcome to ride along with me. I'm sure we can find you a helmet. Best part of that is it is free!

Honestly I agree. First time out can be pretty overwhelming, if u don't have to worry about driving then you can pick uP on how everything flows and such. Also, there will be plenty of ride along possibilities I believe, good time to learn the track and flags (if they'll have em) and such. Plus.... Who doesn't wanna spend time around motorsports on a weekend with decent weather.

So true! I did 60 something laps on the ring in the passenger seat before I really started to drive on the thing! (mostly because the E30 was broken, but i still leaned a lot!)

Be sure to look at all the different configurations that they run because they rarely run the full circuit on open lapping days.

Yeah, I have been around HPR a few times at various events. I will see what my plans are. I might be busy though as Mykal just found out she is going back to cali on Monday for a week.

Sweet, thanks! I think Ben and I and anyone else up here are planning on convoying down early AM.

Any way to find out ahead of time?

Brad, you should come! Bring Mykal too, she might then let you drive the white car.

I REALLY want to go, but I'm not sure I can make it since the wife and kids are sick.

Depending on how things go I might try to carpool with someone and just come along with the camera for pics/video. I'll know friday night and will let ya'll know....

Looking for a clean e30 shell for a project.

Ross I hope you can man.

Got the oil changed, transmission fluid changed back to LT2 (I didn't like Red Line), brakes flush, sub frame inspected, drive line inspected, brakes and brass bushings inspected, full tire inspection, control arms, shock mounts, sway bars, trailing arms, sub frame bushings and tie rods inspected.

Going to leave the street pads and rotors on. Stock M Coupe brakes are more than capable for how fast I'll be going. She's ready to go!

If you have time, I'd definitely not run the street pads since they'll likely fade and crap out after a few laps, but good to hear you're ready to go!

I'm putting front rotors and HT10s on the M3 tonight or friday night, and then I should be ready as well. I'm bringing tools, stands, jack, cooler, mini air compressor, oil, and some spares with me. Should be set.
