THE RIDE IS ON GUYS, SORRY FOR THE CONFUSION
R3V Gaper Mountain Bike Ride. 1-3 hour ride on easy trails at Marshall Mesa. Easiest riding in Boulder, but still fun and great way to dust off the skills.
When: Saturday, April 2nd at 12:00pm
What to Bring:
A mountain bike in good working order. Get your shit tuned up, tires inflated, chain lubed, etc. Nothing ruins a ride worse than unnessesary equipment failure.
Spare Tubes, tire irons, and a tool. Someone should bring a small pump too. I can bring one if nobody else has one. I usually ride with a Big Air.
Proper cycling clothes (the gayer the better). It could be cold or windy so have a light layer you can throw on if we get caught out. Check the forecast on Friday as it will surely change between now and then.
Water - bottles or camel back. I carry my shit in my jersey and use bottles, especially for Marshall.
Nutrition - just a snack if you are prone to bonking. It's easy riding so we shouldn't be out there long enough for people to start bonking. I bring apples and GU's for shorter rides. Recharge is my favorite riding drink. You can find it at Whole Foods and King Soopers in the natural section.
Where:
Marshall Mesa Trail Head. It's on the south EAST side of Eldorado Springs Drive at the intersection of Eldorado Springs Drive and HW 93 south of Boulder. The dirt lot fills up quick. If it's full there is more parking on the north side of Eldorado Springs Rd between Eldorado Springs Rd and HW 93.
