      Heh heh.

Strut tubes are only $1400 from the dealer. Used sets are closer to $500/pair. Still expensive but not ridiculous.

Plus....go off track in regular e30 and you really need to screw up to bend the strut tubes. Not all that big an issue.

Dudes the forecast for the weekend just changed. I might have to go hang gliding on Saturday now because that's when everyone is going and I need a driver to fly the site (it's at 10000 feet). I would bag it, but I have a comp coming up in a month and every second I can get in the air is invaluable. If I can't make it I can post a map of the best loop for everyone do to or we can move it to Sunday. I'd rather not inconvenience everyone so I'm happy to post a detailed map and description. Let me keep an eye on the forecast.
Disregard this post I'm in for the bike ride. Noon on Saturday. See you there.

So what's the plan? If there is no "instructor" I might just go somewhere closer to Golden to save gas.

Brad, I'm in. Disregard my previous post. The forecast is too questionable to be worth bailing on the ride. The ridge between short waves is hitting the mountains today. I bet it's sunny and beautiful in Boulder (unlike Kalispel). Saturday the winds are going to build all day ahead of the next trough. It's too much of a gamble to drive all the way to the mountains and I don't need my first flight in 3 months to be at a high density altitude site with high winds. There is no worse feeling beings stuck in the air, parked on a mountain top, unable to get down.

12:00PM at the Marshall Mesa Trail head. See you guys there!

I started a sign up sheet on the first post so we don't leave without anyone. If you aren't coming please post to let us know.

Shit, 12? Ffffuuuu. Found out today the machine shop for senior projects is opening tomorrow from 10-2, and we need the machine ime. Any way we can do 230? I need to be in the shop for those hours if possible.

Im a maybe at best, but will likely have to sit this one out.

Well, I may or may not be there. One of the hex bolts on the existing pedal was somewhat stripped and I tried to loosen it but it just got worse. I am going to try to take it to a shop in the morning to get it off. Hopefully I have some luck.
