If you can keep it clean and not break it you shouldnt have a problem selling that VW here.

That is the issue. After a rally day w/ all 5 doors taken off, the interior of the car may be beyond cleaning. Then again, if I remove it all......
Oh and also, I am sure to get pulled over during the 2 hr trek to the track w/ no doors and no hood.Comment

yeah i am pretty sure the body panels are staying. I will probably remove the easily removable interior parts though like the seats.
That is, if I buy it. I can't offer $800, i literally don't have $800, and not sure he will take $600.Comment

Just do what I did to my CCC Mountaineer and high-pressure rinse the interior when you're done. Wait a few days for the wiring to dry out and resell. Works like a charm. And I'm pretty sure the only way they can nail you for going sans doors is a lack of mirrors... just slap one on the driver's side and you/re good. Just like a Jeep.
Wait, so for fun you keep the doors on? Does not compute...
EDIT: If I drove this across ABQ for the CCC this year, you can rive a doorless Golf across Denver.

Who is coming?? It is this weekend!!
We are probably going to leave Loveland pretty early, like 6-ish or so, and if other people are coming, we can meet somewhere further south. Who is planning on coming?
Not too many people from this board, i presume, since no one has rally cars, but even so...Comment
