Turns out only 3 hours of sleep last night makes me too tired to come up. Maybe next week...

Looking for a clean e30 shell for a project.

btw, Val still has the vette suspension stuff and the V12, and he thought the idea was awesome.

Project FuckYouBoulder Prius is looking possible.

But who is going to fork up the cash for a prius?

Plan is to buy a second-gen, rip out all the environmentally friendly bits, install big honking LS2 (passes OB2 emissions ftmfw), corvette suspension/brakes/driveline/diff, and mid-engine the bitch.

Better question is why wouldn't you? Single-person HOV use, no need to pass emissions because it still looks like a Smugmobile, and it shoots flames with V8 noises.

Honestly, it would be the coolest thing ever. You could easily do a car show tour around the country.

I might buy the batteries for an electric-something-with-wheels. Not sure if they are designed for that use though.

Wouldn't it be awesome? Car guys everywhere would love it.

We were tossing around the idea of everyone kicking in a grand or two and having a collaborative project once we all actually have real income. It'd be sooooo friggin worth it.

If it happens in Colorado, AND there will be a tour, then I can chip in a few grand.

Yes on both counts. After I get my masters I'm for damn. Just need an income measured in multiples of thousands first.

That's why you get your masters while you are working full time. Noob.

haha. If I didn't have this one paid for already I sure would be. Been rethinking the doc and don't really see a reason why I need one, I want an MBA down the road more anyway.
