So here's the deal. I have this bad vibration in the driveline. It is only when i accelerate so that is how im assuming its the driveline. Ive been told i need a new flex disc so i just bought one from bavauto and haven't put it in yet. I would really love to find a driveshaft in case that isnt it. Or if you guys have any suggestions as to what else i can do to fix it that would be great. This is my first e30 and i love it and am excited to learn about it. Its a 1990 325i with around 200k. Please help me!

Changing a guibo (flex disc) is very easy. All you need is a 13mm socket, a 17mm (maybe 19?) wrench and socket, and a 10mm socket. That's it.
Also, I have spare E30 d-shaft parts that i'll sell for junkyard pricing ($20 complete iirc?). front half has a little piece chunked out of it where the trans input shaft goes in (someone tried to yank it off w/ out dropping the center bearing). Back half is in good shape. Both straight and non-vibrating.
I'll sell for cheaper actually, since the front half isn't perfect. Say $10 for it all, including a used Guibo in decent shape.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

When I did my swap, I had to aquire an E30 M3 driveshaft. When I finally found one, it had been split in two and not marked for balance.
So I had a local shop in Germany balance the driveshaft and put a new center support bearing on as well. They charged me 60 euro, which is well worth it for the piece of mind!
My Guilbo in the E28 is starting to look like the drain grate after my wife gets out of the shower... Time to order more parts!
