Bring some spare gas cans or top off in Byers would be my suggestion.

I'm gonna go hit the sack, gotta wake up at the asscrack of dawn to not be late this time.
I guess it wasnt as bad as I thought. I averaged 11.8mpg from the station we met at, to and around the track, then down to Limon to fill up. I'm guessing I averaged about 9mpg on the track.

Vids from the day are pretty funny! Crazy tire movement can be seen in one angle!

I rebuilt the head, now I just need to take the bottom end out and order all of the expensive parts so I can put it back together.

Pretty sure it was just kind of fluke overheat. Can't really figure it out. Definitely drank a tooon of coolant though.

Wasn't planning on it since we're meeting at the Shell. I'm bringing a couple extra gas cans to make up for the <2gal I'll burn on the way there.

It's exactly 50mi from the McD/Shell to HPR.

Yes, I plan to leave the gas station at about 0805. Takes a good 50 mins from that meet point to HPR.
