1996 318ti sport package (not clubsport)
M44
5-speed
Alpine White
Interior is black leather bolsters, grey/purple cloth.
Traction control, no LSD
~173,000 miles
This is a very fun car to drive. There is no over drive and the M44 loves to rev. It makes for a fun DD. My wife gets around 29mpg on her C470 commute. My wife is refusing to let it go, but it needs to happen. Hopefully it goes to a good home.
For you guys, or your friends, I will sell it for $4,000. There are a few 318ti's for sale locally right around that price. None are the oem sport package and none are alpine white, so they don't really matter anyways :)
The Good:
-Service records from the PO and some from me.
-Window sticker, and the PO's work was done by a dealership.
-Thousands spent by the PO, but the most important was the OEM clutch replacement, which was around 120k.
-Headliner was replaced. This is a common TI problem
-Bilstein Sport struts
-Replaced CA bushings (M3), F/R shock mounts, reinforcement plates, etc.
-Replaced water pump, radiator, t-stat and housing with all OEM parts
-New CD player that actually matches the car
-Replaced motor and transmission mounts
The not so good:
-Tires are wearing pretty bad. Still a ton of tread though. The trailing arm bushings and subframe bushings should be done just like any car with this suspension design.
-AC needs a recharge.
-I replaced the front fogs with new OEM ones from pelican. They burnt out, and now have a "burnt" look to them. Not sure if pelican supplied the wrong bulbs or if they aren't meant to be on %100 of the time.
-The sunroof motor cover is a pain to keep attached. The new headliner is thicker then OEM so the tabs have a hard time holding on. We just keep it off for now.
- The leather bolsters show average wear. No tears.
- The rear decklid cover is sun faded.
- Oil pan gasket is just starting to drip.
- seat belt/air bag light is on like a bunch of E36's
- Drivers side door panel needs some new clips
I think that covers everything. I am being upfront about everything, so ask any questions. It is dirty right now so I don't have current pictures.

Interior. Still needs a good cleaning as you can see in the second picture.
