How much weight can these racks hold? Would +200lbs be ok?

The weight ratings are usually based on the integrity of the roof of the vehicle and not just the racks themselves. I.E. the integrity of the roof might be compromised before the racks fail. I would say that 200 lbs would be a bit on the steep side for an e30's rain gutter mounts.89 325i (Sold)
