My car isn't that low, but I do daily drive it rather agressively over street bumps/manholes/etc. And I actually bought this skidplate to prevent autocross cones from flipping up into my radiator (yes it did happen). I highly recommend it:

I put one on. I scraped the pan once and then immediately bought one.

                      Yes sir, I work there.

Thanks for the offer from fort colins, but i dont trust my other car to take road trips right now. If anyone has one in the springs area let me know! Thanks guys. And yes a skid plate will be ordered soon, or made.

Don't go full stancetard and you won't have these problems.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

I looked for the RaceSkids one originally b/c that seemed to be the best option. At the time, TC Motorsports was the cheapest place online, so I went with them. I have bought some other stuff from them and they are great.

(They even sent me a E30 wall calendar full of the E30's they race up there. Probably the best free wall calendar I've ever had, haha.)

One caveat with this skidplate: it does make changing the oil slightly less easy (not that it's hard to begin with by any measure). I can't quite fit a socket wrench in the hole of the plate where you are supposed to, so I just have to use approximately 100 turns of a wrench to get the bolt all the way out. And because of the angle, I don't even think an extension would really help.
