    1991 318is part-out

Parting out a wrecked 318is that I bought from Patrick here. Wrecked in the front, so front bodywork is no good, and I am keeping the drivetrain, wheels, radiator, and the front seats.

Extra stuff I have that's not on the car:

    Rear pop-out windows (not pictured)
    Complete M42 head
Two extra G240 transmissions (not pictured)
M42 cat (I have two extras actually, one is pictured)

Let me know what you need! PLEASE EMAIL ME INSTEAD OF PM. PM is a terrible interface and email is so much faster, easier, more organized, etc etc.

My email is iamthenomad at gmail

As this thread is in the Mountain section, it is implied that local sales are preferred, but as there is out-of-state interest, I am open to that as well, but please realize that with all other variables constant, a local sale takes precedence.

relatively new discovery: The frame rails on this car are UNDAMAGED. I looked into the damage more in depth last night, and the parts that are toast are: front bumper, valence, rad support, inner fender, outer fender. The frame rail/bumper shock are UNTOUCHED. Not sure if this makes this car a possible track shell project for anyone. The only major downside with this is one of the POs (not CO318is, who I bought it from) removed all the trim and filled it with Bondo for a "trim delete", which I think is one of the worst ideas since the DC handgun ban. But if anyone is interested in the shell, email me.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

Being part of the drivetrain, I will be keeping it.

I have it, but the current offer for it is $155 shipped to ConUS.

Actually, I do need some parts... Tell me what you have and we can haggle a price!

Parts 4, 7, 9, and 12 in the following diagram:

Reverse light wiring harness, part 21 in the following diagram:

And how is the rear bumper trim? If the center piece isn't cracked or broken, I'd also like that.

              Thanks!

Glove box condition? I would need all parts with it, screws, hinges, etc.

I'll have to look at them and determine their condition.

I'll work on gathering together the requested parts so far tomorrow after work if I have time.

It's still first come first serve, with preference to local sales!

I believe the windshield is good, I would double check after work today, and hopefully get some pictures up.

How long is a "little while"? I was hoping to move the car relatively quickly, but of course that can mean up to a month...
