Spec Wheels did something similar to my old BBS RC wheels. They didn't bother cleaning off the sticky wheel weight residue, they just powder coated over it. The finish was fine, but I wish they would've told me they weren't going to prep them at all (although for the price I would have expected they would put a little more effort into it) as I would've done it before hand.Comment
