    Wheel Repair Shop?

Anyone have any recommendations for a wheel repair shop? Ideally in the South Denver area.

Woody's did an awful job on the wheels that came on my Audi. The finish was good, but they powdercoated the center bore, so the wheels wouldn't come off without taking a sledge to them.

Spec Wheels did something similar to my old BBS RC wheels. They didn't bother cleaning off the sticky wheel weight residue, they just powder coated over it. The finish was fine, but I wish they would've told me they weren't going to prep them at all (although for the price I would have expected they would put a little more effort into it) as I would've done it before hand.

Yeah, spec wheels doesn't prep at all. Had the same exact experience with them.

              Other suggestions:

I've heard good things about Powder Coating Specialties in Wheatridge, but never actually used them before. Not sure if they do structural repair.

I've also used Pristine Powder Coating, but not sure if he does any structural repair.

Thanks, guys! I'll definitely keep Trudesign in mind. Still not sure what my plans are.

Here's two more threads on the subject from our part of the forums. I had some refinished by TruDesign and put my experiences in here. I would recommend TruDesign:

FYI. I was in True Desgin yesterday and Jim is shutting down shop. If you need wheels fixed, he's only open for one more month.

                        That blows :(

He fixed up my AMG wheels with some pretty major lip damage from shipping quite nicely.
