I am selling all of the stuff that I had together for my beast euro E28 build, which I can no longer accommodate at this point in my life. I am sad to see it all go, but it must be done.
So let's get down to business.
Complete Euro spec E28: 1984 520i, imported on the grey market from Berlin. I'll make a dedicated FS ad for this car in a bit, but for now I will give a heads up here.
The bad: engine is no good, snapped t-belt. Has some dents and whatnot, some dents in the bumpers as well. Interior needs a little TLC but overall is in good shape.
The good: Complete front suspension bushing/ball joint overhaul. All new bushings and ball joints incl Powerflex full poly thrust arm bushings. Rear subframe from US spec E28, US spec rear swaybar (factory didn't come with one). Powerflex full poly rear subframe bushings. Rear trailing arms from an E32 740i, so that gives you ball bearing "bushings" (very robust and precise), and big disc brakes. Also, front brakes are from the same E32 740i, so you get (matching) big front brakes as well. Currently sitting on E38 16" style 5s.
Asking $2k for now
M50nv motor w/ 100k on it, was a factory BMW replacement engine done by the dealer in 1997, and I have the paperwork to prove it. Costed the owner something like $8k. It is in perfect shape, you won't find better. $500
SOLD 5-speed trans from E36 325i, I pulled it from a junkyard, the shifting is good, and the input/output shafts do what they are supposed to in every gear. Also included is the flywheel and clutch from the same car, lots of life left.$100 SOLD
SOLD BRAND NEW never installed SPAX 28-way adjustable sport shocks for an E28. I paid around $600 shipped (that is before Moosehead raised the price). They have been in storage for over a year now. $500 SOLD
SOLD Genuine Recaro seats, black cloth, I got them from the original owner who bought them at $600 a piece. In perfect shape, but with some mud on them that I still have to clean off. $600 for both (SOLD)
SOLD 3.25 LSD from an E23 iirc, it's a medium case, so identical to E28 and E30 med case diffs except the backplate of course. $150 SOLD
