Lol it funny I have talked to all the same people! I just bought rear subframe, 3,73 LSD, trailing arms, front struts, and front subframe from Austin. He is a good guy. And my build is just getting started! With all the parts things will be on there way soon. I'm just trying to find where to buy everything, I am just waiting for the GE coil overs, need to order bushings, brakes, konis, z3 steering rack etc etc... Lots of parts and research lol.

After a few years away I got my old '87 325is back running and inspected this week. I am currently running snow tires on some old bottlecaps I picked a few years back but I am having some moderate vibration once speeds go above 50mph. I believe at least one of the bottlecaps I have is bent and has two huge balancing weights on it which makes me think I should just get a replacement. Does anyone know where i could get a bottle cap or a set of basketweave wheels cheap? I will go to some 15" ASAs or something similar in the spring but for now I just want to get this more drivable.Comment

Can anyone recommend an engine builder in SLC to help with my ix m20? Shouldn't be in too bad a shape, hoping for just a re ring and hone. Who is good in SL? What do I need to avoid, and what sometimes gets overlooked that I want to make sure is done? Thanks!Comment

I was hoping to get going in the E30 soon but I just blew the head before it ever even ran. So looks like it will be a couple more weeks/months before I get the M50 done up and swapped in. Hopefully in spring I can start attending E30 festivitiesComment

Just a noob mistake after another...had the head cleaned and didnt lube it up again before assembly, figured it would do that itself upon first start (which was expected to happen right away). Since I damaged my wiring harness, the entire trouble shooting process resulted in countless cranking which seized the head eventually...finally when the new harness came in it was too late and the timing belt snapped leading to a broken lifter etc...blahComment
