how many of you guys daily your e30?

I am looking at getting another e30 as a daily, but since I drive 30k a year it worries me. I don't have time for it to be in the shop much......

I wish I could get one of these and not daily mine...

No longer stock ride height, rolling as low as a daily driver in New England should without worrying about breaking an oil pan.

Daily an e36 and the thing left me stranded today. I get stranded by that pos more than any other car I have ever owned.

Today the steering coupler failed.Thankfully I was only pulling into a parking spot.

I must have been an ax murderer at one time due to my karma being so crappy.

Hahaha my e36 was always broken down too, so far my e30 has been a champ.

So it is either a new car in May or another e30

Tough one. I'd be looking at a Toyota corolla or something in that line for a high mileage commuter car. Save in gas and some maintenance. Love an E30 but I hate piling the mileage on mine.

Nice car but damn not gonna be cheap on the wallet commuting to work with that. Used C5 vette in 6th gets good mileage.

yeah I know I am not looking for cheap on gas, more cheap on repair bills and I really don;t want a car that will see a lot of shop time unless I am upgrading things.

I would prefer a nice, e30 with an engine swap but finding one had proven difficult

you're telling me, my e28, iX and 24v all aren't currently on the road right now... thank God for the subway, I guess :(

For those looking for a DD, why not an 325e + chip?
Good power for daily use, I had one for a few months and loved it

Not body said it's not. The problem is most E's are so old and ragged out here in the Northeast these days.

The other bad is the crappy plate style shifter. And failing 7th injector system aka cold start injector.

But a good running, clean e 4 door with a chip is nice clean fun.
