Hey Sorry I fell off this... here are some thoughts:

I bought imola pre mixed and it was pricey...I want to say close to $1000 for the paint. The price of paint varies, red is the most expensive. I volunteer there - I help him when I can and he hooks me up. Out the door I probably spent close to $3K.

We recently resprayed a Nova II, some body work, threw some stripes on it (yellow car with matte gray stripe) and I think end of the day it was $3,500. Since then the same owner is having us paint his other Nova and his Vette. These are all nice cars. We did a color change on a newer Porsche from black to red. You could never tell it was a respray and that same owner has brought other projects to us.

Tim (the owner) is good, he has been doing body work for 30 years. He doesn't like to do resprays because no one really wants to pay what it actually would cost in order for him to make any money. That's why he never really does it. Obviously, in auto body, most of the big paying jobs are paid through insurance.

He spent a day just spraying my car. The actual time that goes into the process is significant.

    He typically uses PPG.

I envision it as me helping out with the projects (to keep costs down). Your paint will most likely be cheaper and the scope of your project might be different. So take the prices I presented with a grain of salt. I would still reach out and take a ride down, I bet we can make something happen.

Id def be interested in a respray. Money isnt quite an option for my car. I just want a highly trusted person working on my car. Need to have a few things popped out here and there and then a full respray including bumpers
