Last year was one of the worst winters we've had in a long time. I bought snow tires and had absolutely no issues in my e30. I drove it everyday and never had issues.
When you're driving just take your time and always be patient, but you're from the Northwest, so I'm sure you're comfortable with winter driving.

Will an E30 work in snow?
Hey east coast guys,
I live in Seattle and I may be going to college in NYC this coming fall. I was wondering, as I plan to drive the car up to Old Westbury in the summer, if an E30 will work with east coast weather? Lol. I have a 325is and I was thinking about putting snow tires on, but I am not sure if that's enough. Let me know! Thanks!
