water Rips the IS lip Spoiler off Friday on front ave.

It was raining very hard and there was a a large puddle in the far right lane. I got forced over by a truck. As I went thought the water the the truck splashed water up and over my car with it all going on at the same time I never thought about the lip. When I got home it was gone. I had my dad who was in the area drive by with no luck. I just Had the dam thing painted.

Dont screw it in, then you will have to buy and paint a new valence as well possibly. Just get all new clips and roll it.

I thought i lost my lip on a few bad puddles yesterday too. I have a splitter as well so it acts as a shovel.

what if you put small machine screws with nuts through the holes for the clips, then you want have to drill the valance

the clips act as a failure point. if the lip is TOO secure you'll fuck up the whole front of the car.

                        oh, very good point
then what about adding a zip tie, so that if pops loose , youll hear it ( as its dragging, and be able to stop[ adn get it and not loose it

so what about the people that are screwing volov lips to thier valance, I guess that would be a bad practice too

There needs to be a sticky on How to not get your IS lip stolen or lost.

Drilling it straight up on the back side and putting zipties through it works the best.

there's nothing you can do, there's not enough plastic there to make a difference, i've tried it before and it just rips through
