    on the road again

    finally back on the road. after a few day project on full front and partial rear suspension
    thanks to all the guys that bought parts so I could buy parts
    thanks matt-b for the springs ( all 4)
    new billy sports ( all 4), upper strut mounts, control arms, offsets, links, bushings, tie rods, rotors and pads ( all 4) and the big diff bushing
    dropped the front to 24 1/4 ( from 26) the back to 22 1/2 form 24

    sitting on stock weaves nd 205/60x14's ( near bald)

    still cant drive it much til wednesday, earliest I can get it aligned, but sure was fun to drive today

    hope to be at Matts on the 8th for the big party

    picture is not on level ground, had not put on my center caps yet,
    have a magnaflow on order
    want a skid plate

    so to date ( car had sat for 2 years when I bought it, in december, wiht blown head gasket)
    the suspension
    rebuilt head, h20 pump, hoses, summer thermostat, fan delete and volvo electric puller fan
    delete p/s and a/c
    delete all the throttle body heater crap
    chipped and 4 pintle big injectors
    new wires /plugs
    short shift
    dropepd and cleaned fuel tank
    all filters ( and prefilter)
    all fuel hoses
    rebuilt starter ( had to) and alternator (preventative)
    ellipsoids
    replace fog light lenses
    added "euro style" plug to rear brake lights
    keyless entry

    future: rebuild caliprs and ss hoses
    wheel bearings all 4 ( preventative)
    install straight front valance ( have , just need to paint)
    install "is" trunk lid ( no 3rd light, has "is" spoiler, just need to paint)
    top "boot" shocks ( to hold it open when needed)
    e36 rack
    skid plate and corss brace
    fatter rear bar
    install smiked side markers ( have em, will do tomorrow)
    well better get back to work on it
    just had to come in and "brag" now that its on the road again

    Lookin good. Hopefully it stays on the road till the 8th. I know it can be quite the task for some e30s.

      I might be 56, but thats not that old, nothing I drive or ride is stock, except my pick-em -up truck
      comes from my old racing days, grew up with a dad that raced jags and morgans, I used to race TR-3's and 4's and kawazaki motorcycles, but was not good enough to ever pick up sponsors[

      and heck , if you got to fix something, might as well make it "right"
