    Froozen coolant

So my coolant is frozen and I can't move it to a warm place to thaw it out. Is running the engine for a few minutes with the WP belt removed a viable option. I know there is a possibility of cracked block/heads but I don't have time to wait until this weather warms up to find out.

Ya I know this. I replaced a coolant hose this summer and I was feeling lazy. Then I forgot about it. Then it got unseasonably cold.

Does anyone living in the Corvallis area have a propane heater or something and can help me out? I would really appreciate it!

You're not going to solve this problem with a torch.

You will probably have to do some sort of a flush with hot water.

I've been pouring hot antifreeze into the two radiator hoses and into the thermostat housing, i'll try to start it a little later.

Got a jump start this morning and it started. I ran it for about half an hour and it hasn't lost any coolant so I think the head gasket is fine.

You'll just have to drive, watch the temp gauge, and check the oil. Hope for the best. (no cracked block etc)
