Snow!

Snow belongs in the mountains where I can ride on it. We haven't had anything here in Bellevue this year while I've been at home for break. But I'm sure I'll arrive to a bunch of snow at my house when I go back to Ellensburg for school. I fucking hate having snow on the ground for three months straight. It will melt momentarily, then re-freeze and just be a pain in the ass when you are trying to walk to class and shit.

I decided to drive out to the beach with a friend for the day yesterday morning...bad decision. Had to drive all the way from the beach to SW Portland on Hwy 26 starting at about 4:45pm....didn't get home until 10:45. E30 did great in the snow though!

So just tried to pull my work truck out of my neighborhood, totally stuck traffic jam blocked as shit crap. I had to stop because someone in an e92 was stuck in front of me, which made me stuck, so I had to back down the a huge hill like 100ft to turn around, took about an hour and a half. That sucked.

I was the guy in the 5 lug M50 swapped red e30... I made the summit!!! I stopped where you saw me the second time and stood on the side of the road for something like 30 min. helped push a few cars, enjoyed the craziness. Watched a single axle semi pulling a medium size trailer sit in place and spin tires for a bit. Then someone came up and told him to put his chains on. Th had to have blocked up 26E pretty good just on his own. I took the opportunity to take off since I was parked off to the side of the road only maybe 50-100 feet in front of him. Once I took off again it was smooth sailing back into Vancouver. Highway 26 in both directions was probably to biggest mess of the evening!

My Alpine 318is is abandoned on 26 EB just past the Sylvan off ramp. Sat in it for seven hours while waiting for some one to be able to come pick me up.

I've never seen so many parked cars. I took 43 home from portland, saw countless abandoned cars along the road. We pile all the customer cars into the shop at night...usually takes 10 minutes to sardine them all in there...took nearly 45 minutes tonight...ugh!

Three hours and forty minutes from Beaverton to SE Portland on my way home from work. Saw three other e30's along the way, one silver that appeared to be achieving the "Sylvan Summit," and two others that did not...:( Who's got the red 5-lug M50 swapped sedan that I talked to?

Thankfully I wasnt stuck in anything "high dollar" when it started coming down bad. The commute took an hour and a half to get home though!
