So, have court tomorrow morning at 8:30am for a speeding ticket, actually came up with a pretty good defense, but while I was printing up my diagrams, my printer took a shit and stopped working so I went down to the 24 hr fedex kinkos, on the way back I was comin up Thompson RD, probably goin' a little too fast for the fog, about the speed limit, come around a corner and there is a deer in the middle of my lane.
Hit brakes as hard as I could but couldn't stop in time, had to go half way off the road, almost hit the embankment, but didn't, hit some big nasty bump. Bad thud around right turns, knocked my IS spoiler off, luckily its still in tact. Don't know what it is yet, probably a bent wheel and something else. Blah. I better win tomorrow.

Probably karma for being a dick about the spoiler thing. FML.

I was driving home 1 night, from a work meeting and parents were behind me. I got hom and they showed up with a slighly dented front corner of car. I saw the dear with the fog lights as i drove by. lol

Lost my case, officer didn't remember facts correctly, and claimed that he maintained visual on my car the entire time, not true, and ended up in my argument pretty much sucking. Oh well, I WAS going 70, but not 77. Judge was nice and reduced it to the next lowest speed bracket(-2mph), as well as took it out of a work zone. So money wise for the ticket, that's good, but insurance/license wise, that is bad, which was my concern which, as well as the speed discrepancy, led me to make the decision to fight it.
