Theres no tranny... so the shifter is just hanging under the car with the knob holding it up, lol.

Yeah for some ridiculous price. Not to be a cheap bastard, but I have $100 in to this car and still am waiting for the title. Want to spend as little as possible until I have the title in my name.

Success! Cranked it over tonight, no fuel pump, but it cranks! Need to top off the oil, get a new t splitter, and then install the tranny!

Sketch, you cranked it over w/o the starter being held in place by the tranny? Go figure Marc :D I thought you'd have this thing on the road a long time ago... But no rotors = slow going I suspect ;) On a happy note, my heap should be firing up tomorrow :)

More like hard time getting parts :( Looks like mr Khar finally disappeared off CL.

And after about 2 seconds I figured out that the starter was loose, haha. I just wanted to make sure it would even crank.

I have his cell phone number, I was just there 2 weeks ago. Want his number? Just watch out for animal droppings in his shop.

Sweet, well I got the transmission in no problem. Just need to stop by a friends and get that exhaust (dual vs single) and I should be able to bolt everything up.

i actually like the wheels, but the car definitely needs a drop for them to look right.

Going for the H+R kit if I can find a used one. Its getting stock wheels for now. Found out here in Oregon, I can get a lien on any vehicle + get the title for $75. Its great.

                              Total in to the car:
                              $80 clutch kit
                              $20 input shaft cover
                              $30 fluids/oil change
                              $75 lien + $86 registration + $12 plate fee + $21 DEQ + $30 trip permit

Still need to get tires for the 2 stock wheels I just got. Shouldnt be more then $50-80.

Sitting right at $400~ ($500 with $100 in paint work :))

Its going to make a great daily driver/beater for when the FD is down for modification, my e30 serves the same purpose very well for my e36.
