Who the hell planned the roads in Portland?

Have you ever done something that you know your future self will want to beat the shit out of your past self for, and yet you still do it. I think that is probably how the early Portland city planners felt their whole career. The roads here are so poorly designed, not to mention the general condition. I was down in the industrial area by OMSI the other day, I swear there was a raised manhole cover down there close to a foot off the ground. If it was dark I would have hit it and probably tore everything off of my car south of the headlights.

My shot while in portland did, in fact, leave my very confused.

I personally don't get portland... everyone should just come to seattle.

I was just up in Seattle for the first time picking up my Recaros, I must say, I really liked that city! Only hung out in downtown, but it was pretty cool, lot's of hot young business ladies.

Love Portland. Worked there in the late 80s(Downtown Hilton). Poor college kid so didnt have a car. Public trans is awesome.

              Have a terminator for me!

Yeah, from what I hear this is definitely a plus of portland. Since Seattle's transit system is all I've really known I haven't noticed where it's lacking, but I've heard it's pretty bad.

Works for me when I need to get places (rarely, I do hate the bus).

Compared to the much less dense socal city i came from, public transit was almost non existant, so seattle seemed alright last year. But the ruckus is infinitely better.

In all fairness to Portland, that is the worst couple of streets in the whole city. It gets better from there.

ps. The constant construction is annoying though.

Yeah, that's not really a fair place to pass judgement on Portland's roads...if you think Portland has bad roads and bad street planning, come to Eugene and you'll be blown away. It's fucking terrible.

Who you ask? The same drunk asshat that designed most of I-405->167 S.

Stupidiest fucking thing in the world and it's been "under construction" for what?, 12 fucking years?! C'mon. I've watched numerous motorcycles almost crash on the "finished" section where NO signs are posted for them to watched out and there is literally a 7" deep line in the pavement that you HAVE to drive over to get to the exit from I-405 to S 167.

If I had a penny or two I'd stick them in a sock and beat the living fuck out of the half assed, retarded "Engineer" responsible.
