The city road planners decided to create what we call job security for their future generations of people of their profession. Look at Ladds Edition. Ugh.

    Nio är livets tal.

Stupidiest fucking thing in the world and it's been "under construction" for what?, 12 fucking years?! C'mon. I've watched numerous motorcycles almost crash on the "finished" section where NO signs are posted for them to watched out and there is literally a 7" deep line in the pavement that you HAVE to drive over to get to the exit from I-405 to S 167.

If I had a penny or two I'd stick them in a sock and beat the living fuck out of the half assed, retarded "Engineer" responsible.
Have you been down Grand lately, where all of a sudden the road drops like 4 inches with no warning? Shit pisses me off every time.

Was visiting with friends in Portland last summer. My Bud who's an Engineer says,"Your gonna love this!"

^ HAHAHA That intersection is a classic. There is always some dipshit there who wants to turn left onto 11th too.

if you think that's a great intersection, try checking out the Fremont and Sandy intersection down around 70th. It's practically 5 streets intersecting at one point with no signs or turn signals, just a basic stop light

Next time I'm down that way I'll have to check that out. But seeing how my Bud and his wife are moving in May, it might be a while.

how do you hit your oil pan on a speed bump when the oil pan is in between the wheels? i'm more worried about the area under the car that is just behind the front wheels (exhaust) when i go over a speed bump.

when you go over a bump slow its not a problem, but when you go fast on the bumps in a sense you beat gravity cause cars suspension does not lift and adjust if you just nail them at 30mph.

Personally i have no problems in portland. there reason there is always construction is populations steadily increase, roads get used etc. van couver has no where near the traffic and roads are a dream

That's statistically the most dangerous intersection in Portland by far (or so I've heard)

I heard that about the intersection of Beaverton Hillsdale Highway and Scholls Ferry and Olsen Road. I used to work right there, there is seriously two accidents a week at least. Total mess. I have actually heard the locals there refer to it as "Kamikaze Corner".

HOWEVER, 82nd and Powell is actually statistically Portland's most dangerous intersection.

Yeah, that one is pretty damn bad too. At least they're finished with widening Oleson Rd....there were some pretty bad bumps/ledges/potholes when they were working on it...for like 2 whole years.

Its funny you say that I am a welder and am thinking about making a custom skid plate for my e30. Not sure yet on sizes but I had thought about doing either a front half or full car, What is your guys' thoughts? Anyone interested if I started fabbing some up? They would be made out of thin gauge sheet metal Im thinking and Im also trying to make it so you can do a somewhat of a quick disconnect...
