I just ordered billy sports and H&R race, just wanted to throw out some good prices I found.

    www.understeer.com has H&R race for $325+25 shipping.

I'm going to getthe billy sports from ejnight since he's local in Vancouver and saving some money with no shipping. Buying a skid plate too while I'm at it.

Lastly I got new front strut mounts and HD rear mounts from autohausaz.com for $85 shipped.

It's quite a few different vendors but it came out less than any of the TMS packages.

ck_taft325is: Your car sits/looks awesome. Thanks for the advise, guys. I think I'll opt for the Race setup, & probably deal with TMS for simplicity's sake.

I'm guessing because you don't have to compress them?

Ryann if you do this make sure, as always to update on the progress, i might just hold out to
see your results and take my car from there.

I would love to go H&R race, but am weary of being low enough to sweep with the is lip/slitter
up front on steep driveways and bumps.

But im thinking stiffer spring, bigger wheels should compensate just right for that. :?

If you go slow and make aware wear you are. You wont scrape. I know what places I cant drive and what places I can.

Most drive ways I go at an angle not because of oil pan and lip/splitter because of cat and muffler, which Ive raised

                'eh...

I want to preface this coming statement with: I love how my car drives, looks and rides. I wouldn't raise it up for anything.

That said, you're going to scrape a little bit and you do have to learn to drive a lowered car. I'm in an M42 as low as I am (very low slung oil pan) without a skid plate. My oil pan literally hangs lower than my "IS" lip and RyanG splitter. You learn to take it slow when you have to and to stay aware. I've only lost one "IS" lip. And when I say "I've" I mean, my wife. And when I say "my wife" I mean, I love her and would never bring it up in front of her ;) She felt terrible.

If you make sure you have new clips (unbroken) on your valance and run an "IS" lip/splitter combo, you'll be fine. When you've got new/unbroken clips, that lip is a serious bitch to get off.

I REALLY need to re-attach my cat/muffler as both are hanging WAY to low right now. Any suggestions? (Threadjacked!)

i had a shop raise it when I got a new cat back installed.

you cut off mount on pipes
cut 1 inch off re weld.

bend pipes before muffler. and cut area that in pinched while bending. weld like a U piece over cut out area?

based on what the OP has said, it sounds like he doesn't want to worry about scraping on speed bumps and other things. For this reason, I still recommend the H&R sports.

                        And matt, yes you are.

ive found the koni set for 580 incl shipping, doesn't seem that bad given they offer a lifetime
warranty and are adjustable. i havent been able to find billies for less than 550 :?
