    WTB: ABS relay??

    anyone have a spare they would like to sell? mine blew out yesterday and would love to get it swapped out. that light is effingg annoying!:hitler:

      put in in a fuse block, ive done multiple and have yet to have a problem.
      M3 springs w/bilstein hd's, IE 22/19mm sway bars, front IE stress bar, complete suspension rebuild, IS interior.

          I recommend disconnecting the battery first
          1.) Take out the ABS overload relay (remove the kick panel under the steering wheel)
          2.) Remove ABS overload relay
          3.) Pull metal tabs back and open relay ( you will most likey see that a small thin wire has been broken
          4.) you will see two contact points where the thin wire is connected to
          5.) soder a fuse block to either side of the contact point
          6.) install a fuse ( i believe 10 will work)
          7.) put metal back into place and use electrical tape if necessary
          8.) install back in car, and connect the battery.
          9.) if the fuse blows again go to a larger fuse until it does not blow anymore.

          This should fix it, it sounds long but should not take more that 30 minutes overall.

            so i im looking at the relay and its totally screwed up where the contact point goes into the relay? its hard to explain, but i know i need a new relay now lol

                yeah super annoying. i went out and bought a soldering gun...that was a fail.
