This weekend I was down in Farbin's neck of the woods... It was weird, no wind! One of these times I need to stop by and say hi.

Good for you! We need some more 24v's around here. I swapped mine about a year and a half ago, so feel free to ask any questions or I can give you a hand.

Also, time to find a Vanos head

Interesting... That would add more "FUN" to this engine.

Awww yeah! To bad it's only an m50. But still awesome! Can't wait to see it done and rope you into giving me a ride
I know... I know... I wanted to keep it simple, Plus I got a great deal on the engine. Free-99!

Well I guess that was the sign you were looking for! Let me know if you need any extra hands
Yes... I may need some help. Stay tuned. Tomorrow I will begin dusting off the parts that were sitting in the attic.

My water pump went out. Father-in-law comes over and says "How much is it to replace that pump?" I then proceeded to say "I don't know, I will just replace the whole engine!" This makes up my mind, next week I will commence M50NV swap. Stay tuned as I may be asking questions.

Here it is, fully rebuilt waiting to be installed since last winter.

Edit: this picture is old... as it now has M52 exhaust manifolds..

You're doing it wrong. Your car should be low enough that this scares you.

Turns out big puddles are really fun to drive through in small cars.
