You're actually buying another car?!Hey guys, might not remember me but I posted here about 8 months ago i think. Im from Portland but moved out here to Idaho. Rexburg specifically. Long story short I wrecked my early model before I moved so I'm in the market again for an E30 hah. Hope to see some of you guys around....Haven't had any luck seeing a local e30 yetLeave a comment:

It is more time consuming than actually challenging. It is amazing how one can pull parts off many BMW's and they all fit together like a messed up lego... but they work.
My airdam also had the same issue... I actually used 220 grit paper to smooth it out. If needed go 180. Just sand as needed to make smooth.
HA!!! 2 of my cousins drive WERX's. Lame...Leave a comment:

And 5 years ago, people around here were asking why you'd want a BMW when you can buy an Evo or an STI or some hopped up Civic that was cool back in 2001.Leave a comment:

Oops, airdam, I was on phone and thought valance for some dumbass reason. I can't wait for them to continue spreading. I took the 323i to an event this weekend and so many people were looking at it. I was surprised at the interest.Leave a comment:

I have seen three modified early models up here in Moscow. They are spreading.Leave a comment:

[QUOTE=ArtFoodBMW;4246480]Anyone here have suggestions on stripping the paint from an IS Airdam? Wetsanding isn't doing the trick and I don't feel comfortable painting over cracked paint like this/QUOTE]
What grit sand paper?
Don't use aircraft stripper on the plastic. It ate away at the plastic of a late model air dam I had once.
Go with some kind of sanding.Leave a comment:

Also congrats on getting it started!!Leave a comment:

Now time to finish her up and get the exhaust figured out. I am shooting for Oct. Coffee and Cars to be 100% complete.
