Because that side of the State sucks balls. All that is up here in Moscow are bro-dozers and Subarus with tinted tails and exhaust.

Be back on April 13th and have a week to do it all. Should be easy. Anybody got one of these http://www.amazon.com/Thrust-Bushing...D11C2JEXE3JK9T ? Would love to get it all done and take it on that drive as a shakedown run
I just did my full front suspension and didn't use one of these. To pull off I had to cut it off. To put new on I used a little bit of dish soap and the new CAB slide right on with a little persuation. Fairly simple.

This past December I had Boise Cyliner Head do my head on M50NV. I took it in with no cam's. Gave him the valve stem seals. He cleaned, resurfaced, installed new stem seals and checked valve seats. He did a great job. Not sure about rebuilding an engine. I just did a top rebuild, didn't touch the rotating assy.

Good to know. I am new control arms and bushings that are already in their new brackets so if the old one's take a beating.... no harm done.

I would definitely recommend Eurosport, great bunch of guys. They also can get fairly busy with work too. I also remember seeing two disassembled S54 engines being put back together as one running engine because the customer had warped the head from overheating.

Hurless Brothers actually send us people that need work on their cars. My dads timing chain guide on his 1998 740il went crappy, hurless said it takes too long for them to do it (25 hours) and then we tackled the job ourselves. A few months later they sent us another 4.4 liter, this time with Vanos and we got it done. We also just got finished rebuilding an m50 for my brothers 94 325i. We don't have the tools or the know-how to skim a cylinder head, but we can do engine rebuilds

Well, congrats on getting an established shop to recommend you guys to work on cars at your garage, that's a lot of trust!

Haha thanks! We know the hurless brothers pretty well, and my girlfriend lives a few houses away from them.

When my shop was open, the BMW dealer sent me e30's because their staff was unfamiliar with them.

                            That's a pretty good story.

I appreciate the comments on Eurosport, I have been talking with the owner and I think I'll give them a shot if I end up needing real engine work done. Of course I'll post a review for the benefit of all but so far its all looking very positive.
