Not sure when I am going to install it. I need to paint the bottom with rubberized undercoating, and I need it to warm up first before I do that. It'll probably be a few weeks.

I didn't know there were any e30 at State Street, but its been a few years since I have been there.

Balls man, that does blow. Do you have AAA?

I got a new hood and grilles today. My choice was Bronzit or Alpine Weiss. I figure now that I have to paint a hood I may as well also replace the whole front end while I'm in there. So I'm on the hunt fora few fenders.

Bad week for e30's in Boise. I managed to catch a rock with my driver's side control arm that was buried in the ground (mostly), lifted it out of the ground and into my gas tank. Of course I was on the other side of Spring Shores Marina up by Lucky Peak about 30 miles from the house. Got the old tank removed this afternoon.

I didn't pull up the e-brake and walked into the store. I came out and it was resting on the back of a big truck. It rolled about 6 feet and hit the truck. My kidney, front bumper, hood, and grills need replaced.

Just find a way to register in another county. It's not that hard.

    Oh and.....

There is no visual inspection in Ada. I believe OBD1 and older get a tail sniffer and OBD2 gets a plug into the system, a CEL will fail the test.

On my E30 they place a sniffer in the exhaust pipe, the timing clamp on cylinder #1 and check the numbers of the exhaust. I am not sure the Pass/Fail #'s. The only inspection they do is to see if you have a CAT. Actually... last time I went in they didn't even look under the car. It is very relaxed compared to other states... Just as long as the %'s and PPPM's met goal, you are good.

straight from the dmv website: "Canyon County and the city of Kuna in Ada County are the only places in Idaho that require the registered vehicles of its residents to go through emissions testing."

perhaps someone who lives there could chime in if i'm wrong.
