How is Ada county on engine swaps? Is there emissions or inspection or both? Any model year cutoff for emissions?

it was beautiful, even with the little snow that was there, it's definitely more of a resort/retirement place.

awesome, i remember seeing a few companies while in boise, so that was a good sign. i seem to like boise and the surrounding areas. thanks!

seen the video before, made me really want to get up and go on the trip.

Think of Sun Valley as a resort area, everything is considerably more expensive, and you are in an area that is not conducive to commute either.

EI is not as bad as they are making it out though, if you are trying to fully escape the city lifestyle like I did, it's perfect, all these people think Boise is the "big city" anyway, so they really don't know what they are talking about.
sorry, ended up not checking into the forums for the rest of my visit. i ended up heading up to sun valley and a few other places before heading back down through nevada. however, i'm okay with boise and the surrounding areas. however, i never made it up to moscow like i had hoped which i would have liked to have seen.

all in all, i look forward to hopefully moving there in the near future. are there many it/computer companies there?

New local guy introducing myself. I've just added a new ride to my collection (79 733i)and could use some guidance.. My first car while living in Germany (1982-1986) was a 69 2002Ti that gave me the bug. My collection now includes a restored 74 2002Tii, a project 73 2002 roundie, a 74 2002 parts car, a 90 325ic, and now this e23 sled. The Tii, and E30 aren't getting driven much with the weather lately, so I'm learning this old E23. Always enjoy a cold beer and good company talking cars.. Prost!
