Search in the swap section. I'm sure that one has been answered.

Firth, population 477. It's that little itty bitty place you have to slow down to go through on Yellowstone/91 south of Shelley.

Spotted a very clean 2 door late model today on Maple grove and emerald. It was a zinno and I think the license plate had a "91" in it. We exchanged waves. It appeared to be lowered.

          Great looking car.

IT's ALIVE!!! My M50 Swap started right up!!! Now time to finish her up and get the exhaust figured out. I am shooting for Oct. Coffee and Cars to be 100% complete.

(Sorry ArtFoodBMW for not texting you when I started it. I was too excited and wanted to turn the key)

That was quick! Good work mate. I take it it wasn't too challenging?

Damn it! I totally would've come over this morning too, if that's when you started it.

Also congrats on getting it started!!

Anyone here have suggestions on stripping the paint from an IS Airdam? Wetsanding isn't doing the trick and I don't feel comfortable painting over cracked paint like this

Pneumatic paint striper or aircraft stripper may work.

                      What grit sand paper?

Don't use aircraft stripper on the plastic. It ate away at the plastic of a late model air dam I had once.

Go with some kind of sanding.

I have seen three modified early models up here in Moscow. They are spreading.

Oops, airdam, I was on phone and thought valance for some dumbass reason. I can't wait for them to continue spreading. I took the 323i to an event this weekend and so many people were looking at it. I was surprised at the interest.

And 5 years ago, people around here were asking why you'd want a BMW when you can buy an Evo or an STI or some hopped up Civic that was cool back in 2001.

It is more time consuming than actually challenging. It is amazing how one can pull parts off many BMW's and they all fit together like a messed up lego... but they work.

My airdam also had the same issue... I actually used 220 grit paper to smooth it out. If needed go 180. Just sand as needed to make smooth.
